Social network streams surface newness by burying the past, but sometimes things are too good to be buried.
Too Good to Be Buried is an ongoing project to match public domain images from the commons (buried at Flickr) with clever phrases (which would be buried on Twitter). Juxtaposing images and text in a physical artifact hopefully makes a person want to stop and look.
